MIDPOINT Institute is thrilled to announce the return of the HAVC & MIDPOINT Development Award, a prestigious recognition for the best short film project within the MIDPOINT Shorts 2024-2025 program. This marks the second year in a row that this significant award will be presented, highlighting the ongoing commitment of MIDPOINT Institute and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) to support emerging filmmaking talents.
Empowering Filmmakers with the HAVC & MIDPOINT Development Award
The HAVC & MIDPOINT Development Award includes a cash prize of 3,000 EUR, co-funded by HAVC, to provide essential financial support to the standout project from this year’s program. This initiative underscores our shared dedication to fostering the development of exceptional short film projects.
Program Highlights and Award Announcement
The MIDPOINT Shorts 2024-2025 program will culminate at the prestigious When East Meets West (WEMW) Co-production Forum, where all participating projects will be showcased.
The MIDPOINT Shorts Showcase is scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2025, at 16:30 CET, with the award winner to be revealed during the WEMW Award Ceremony on January 21, 2025.
