Andrea Magnani is a director, screenwriter, and producer. He directed the feature films Easy (2017), which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and received two David di Donatello nominations, and Jailbird (2022), which competed at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and the Torino Film Festival. He also wrote Paradise, directed by Davide Del Degan, winner of the Italian Golden Globe.
He has been involved in training emerging filmmakers, teaching screenwriting at Ca' Foscari University of Venice and leading workshops such as Albascript+, organized by the Balkan Film Centre in Tirana, the Mattador Workshop, and Eastweek – Scriptwriting Workshop for New Talents within the Trieste Film Festival.
