Réka Pinczés is an aspiring film director working on documentaries and fiction. After obtaining her BA in business management at Corvinus University of Budapest, and following her childhood dream, she earned her MA in film directing at ELTE University of Budapest. Besides Unwellness, she has been developing her debut feature-length documentary, Steps of Domonkos, for over two years, which also deals with sexuality, self-exploration, and self-acceptance. The project has been awarded at Verzio Documentary Film festival’s DocLab pitch forum with the encouragement award by the Documentary Association of Europe (DAE) and the Best Hungarian Film award by Hungarian Documentary Filmmakers Association (MADOKE). In addition, she is a freelance editor and on-set editor at a leading Hungarian production studio, Umbrella Collective with several award-winning short format films -such as commercial films and music videos- behind her.
