Petar Lakić (2000) was born in Kovin, where he grew up and graduated from high school. Since 2020, he has been studying at the Department of FTV Directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. He was chosen to represent the University of Arts in Belgrade at the European Film Academy award workshop in Berlin as a member of the young jury. During his studies, he directed several short films and documentaries that were shown at numerous festivals: Just this world (2023) - Bašta Fest, Special recognition at the Valjevo Film Meetings. He is currently completing three films - Bull's Eye (2024), Through the Veil (2024) and Feathers for Two Pillows (2024) which are awaiting premieres. He is preparing for the filming of his graduate film Heart in your throat. He is interested in searching for new film forms through the interweaving of genres, as well as examining the limits of morality through his characters.
