Manos Tzivakis holds a B.Sc. degree in Experimental Physics from the University of Freiburg, Germany and has studied Film & TV directing at Stavrakos Film School, Athens (HCTSS, member of CILECT). His credits include the short films “Love you more than Peanut Butter” by Ariadni Angeliki Thyfronitou Litou (awarded twice at the 45th Drama ISFF, 28th Athens IFF and 63rd Thessaloniki IFF, Nominated at the Hellenic Film Academy’s IRIS Awards) and “The first Setting Sun of Summer” by Asteris Tziolas (21st IN THE PALACE, awarded twice at the 46th Drama ISFF, 28th Athens IFF and 64rth Thessaloniki IFF). Since 2021, he works as a Junior Producer at Yorgos Tsourgiannis’ production label Horsefly Films, where he is involved in Dimitris Athyridis' film "Exergue - on documenta 14" (Berlinale 2024), as well as the upcoming films by Efthimis Kosemund Sanidis, Christiana Cheiranagnostaki and Athanasios Karanikolas, as well as a slate of international co-productions by the company, including the upcoming films by award-winning directors Emin Alper and Hana Jusic. Manos is an alumnus of APostLab (2021), Oxbelly Script Editing (2022) and Sarajevo Talents (2023).
