Špela Levičnik Oblak has over 30 years of experience in advertising. She ventured into scriptwriting with the Slovenian TV series "The Lives of Tomaž Kajzer," where she co-wrote scripts for 6 episodes with Peter Bratuša. Her journey as a screenwriter continued in collaboration with Peter Bratuša again, with the short film "TwoOne," which had a successful premiere in 2016. The successful collaboration in scriptwriting continued in the following projects, namely the feature film "Awakening" (2017) and the youth film "Gaja's World" (2018) and "Gaja's World 2" (2022). "Gaja's World" received an award at the Croatian Motovun Film Festival, Buzz@Teen, and the Sarajevo Film Festival, as well as the Vesna awards at the Slovenian Film Festival 2018, and also received 3 golden rolls (for surpassing 75,000 viewers). "Gaja's World 2" won the award for Best Youth Film in Sarajevo in 2022 and received 3 golden rolls (for reaching over 86,000 viewers). In the film "Gaja's World 2," she also serves as a co-producer. She is a member of the Association of Slovenian Directors and Screenwriters.
