Peter Bratusa
Peter Bratuša was born in 1962 in Maribor. He studied cinematography at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. In 1991, he was the producer and director of photography on the first film in independent Slovenia, "Grandma Goes South," which still remains a Slovenian classic. As a producer and director, he has created more than 300 TV commercials and developed numerous new formats for television shows. As a co-writer, he wrote scripts for the TV series "The Lives of Tomaž Kajzer" (2014, 2024), which he also directed and produced. He held the same roles in his feature film debut "Awakening" (2017) and in youth films ("Gaja's World," 2018, and "Gaja's World 2," 2022), as well as in short films ("Ten Years," 2009, and "TwoOne," 2016). He is the recipient of numerous awards in advertising (SOF, Golden Drum, Festo, Epica, MIAF) and the film industry (Vesna awards at the Slovenian Film Festival, Sarajevo, Motovun, Kinolub).
