Ksenia Gapchenko
Ksenia Gapchenko was born into a Russian-Ukrainian family and has been based in Berlin since 2022. An award-winning producer and emerging screenwriter with over a decade of industry experience, she is passionate about creating impactful content, focusing on personal stories. With a degree in Philology, Ksenia studied at the Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov School of Documentary Film and Theater. She also participated in prestigious programs like Eurodoc and Ex Oriente and has successfully pitched at events such as IDFA Forum and DOK Leipzig. A member of the European Film Academy and a Nipkow Workshop fellow (2022/2023), Ksenia now focuses on screenwriting, committed to developing original scripts that resonate with global audiences. Her filmography as a producer and script advisor includes How to Save a Dead Friend (2022, Visions du Reel, Cannes Lacid, grand prix DOC NYC).
