Viktorie Novotná started out working on music videos. She is a second-year student in the Department of Directing at FAMU. Her films deal with the horror genre and the theme of growing up. Together with director Adina Šulcová, Novotná is currently working on a mini-series focusing on Generation Z for Czech Television’s streaming platform iVysílání.
Her short film Spiknutí holčičích hoven (Girls Full of Shit Conspiracy) was nominated for the Czech Film Critics’ Award for Best Short Film in 2023.
