Julie Soffer (1999) graduated from the Department of Production at FAMU. She has extensive experience in film, commercial and theater production. Notably, she directed the 37th FAMUFEST festival and worked for advertising production company AD KOLEKTIV, a subsidiary of the major film production company FILM KOLEKTIV.
At FAMU, Julie participated in several short films as producer and line producer, including Vojtěch Novotný's Paradise on Earth to See; and Anna Wowra's Stuck Together.
Since 2023, Julie has collaborated with producer Julie Marková Žáčková (Nochi film) on projects such as Lover, Not Fighter (dir. Martina Buchelová), Promise I'll Be Fine (dir. Katarina Gramatová) premiering at Tokio IFF, and Animal (dir. Milada Mašínová Těšitelová).
She is currently involved in the production of Animal as a junior producer and the short film Raklo (dir. Petr Simon) as an executive producer. In addition, Julie is developing her debut feature film In Good Faith (dir. Anna Wowra) with producer Tomáš Pertold (Perfilm).
