He graduated from the Producing Department at FAMU and also gained experience at Chapman University (USA) and London Film Academy (UK). Besides that, he also serves as s New Business Producer at sound postproduction Studio Beep where is looking for new projects, including international co-productions. Since 2024, Jan has been an active member of the European Film Academy.
