Andrej Korovljev
Andrej Korovljev, screenwriter and director Andrej Korovljev was born in 1970 in Pula. He studied film directing at the University of Westminster, UK. His film "Years of Rust" has received awards and has been showcased at film festivals worldwide. Andrej has also received numerous awards for his commercials, music videos, and short fiction works. He served as the longtime selector for the short fiction film category at the Motovun Film Festival. His documentary film "Tusta," a biographical film about the greatest frontman of the ex-Yugoslav punk-rock scene, has been seen by over 15,000 regional viewers and has been screened and awarded at film festivals. His first feature-length fiction film, "Hotel Pula," premiered at the opening of last year's Pula Film Festival, attended by 5,500 viewers. The film is currently travelling to international festivals. Currently, he is developing a fiction TV series titled „Blind Spot," for which funding has been approved by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre and Media Creative Europe. Andrej is a member of the Croatian Society of Film Directors.
