Their works often reveal a spontaneous arsenal of formal devices that foreshadow a certain style or thematic focus. By transitioning to feature films, harmonising a unique vision of the world with conceptual dramatic thinking becomes vital. In the masterclass lecture by director Pavel Marek, we will watch several short films and reflect on his “signature style” and the different strategies in making a short or a feature film.
