Aleksandra Hulboj
Aleksandra Hulbój - Born on July 10, 1997 in Zakopane, Poland. She is a screenwriter and director. She is a graduate of the National Film Television and Theater School in Łódź, where she graduated from the Faculty of Directing, mastering in Screenwriting; and a graduate of Andrzej Wajda’s Film School in Warsaw majoring in Directing. She also studied Experimental Film and Animation at the Szczecin Academy of Art.
She is the author of the screenplay for the domestic and international award-winning short film Dead Marriage, which was awarded Best Student Film at Palm Springs Festival in 2023, and Best Short Film at Oscar-Qualifying Cracow Film Festival among else. She also wrote the short film Last Film Before the End of the World, shown at the IFF New Horizons and the FPFF in Gdynia, among others. She has participated in numerous screenwriting and directing courses and workshops. In 2021, she received an honorable mention for best direction in the international Papaya Young Directors competition.
