We Are Still Here
An Uber driver and a postman meet at a support group called Anonymous People Who Accidentally Killed Someone. She wants to find her mum’s killer. He wants to kill again, but this time on purpose.
Tola (26), a young Uber driver, is involved in a car crash, in which she accidentally kills a man. Since then, she has been tormented by the flashbacks of the accident in which her mother died 15 years ago.
Błażej (55) is an elderly postman who has unintentionally killed three people already. He would like to kill again, but this time on purpose.
They meet at the support group called APWAKS: Anonymous People Who Accidentally Killed Someone. Tola feels that Błażej might know who drove the truck that crashed into her mother. Trying to persuade him to help her, she irrevocably ruins Błażej’s relationship with his younger brother, about whose existence he had learned only a month before. As a result, he decides to become her sponsor and help her find the truck driver. He believes it’s his chance to kill Tola, whom he has chosen as his first victim.
Together, they set out on a journey in search of the truck driver and themselves.
