Petr Oukropec was born in 1972 in Prague, Czech Republic. In 1995 he cofounded the film production company Negativ s.r.o., one of the leading film production companies in the Czech Republic. It has produced more than 30 feature- length films. He works as a producer, a lecturer of Production Department at FAMU and recently he has finished his feature debut as a director. He is a member of the European Film Academy.
