Oz Zirlin
Oz Zirlin graduated from Minshar for Art with excellency in 2022. During his school years He directed “Ziskind” (2020)- Jerusalem Film Festival short film competition.
The next year his hybrid short “His best friend” (2021) was nominated in the short film competition at Durban Film Festival in South Africa.His graduation film “Adane and Yaleo” (2022) competed at the Jerusalem Film Festival, Munich School Film Festival, Tel Aviv Student Film Festival and more.
His short hybrid film “Home Front” 2024- was one of the winners at the Makor Film Fund doco competition.
As part of his work, Oz was the DOP of short films such as “Pitom” (2022) Haifa Film Festival, “Auto Da Fe” (2022) BFI- Flare and more.
He is currently developing his first feature film “Exile”- a story about three heroes trying to change their lives in the city of Hadera. The project was awarded the “Artistic vision award” at the “Sam Spiegel Film Lab” and a development deal from the Israeli Film Fund during 2022-2023.
