Ludvik Marecek
My career in film production spans three distinct phases, each marked by significant growth and achievement. I began my journey in 2002, starting from the ground up as a runner and production assistant. In pursuit of a deeper understanding of the craft, I was accepted into the Film and TV School of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). While completing my studies, I worked as a line producer and production manager on various AV projects, primarily feature films. Notable projects during this period include Kawasaki's Rose (dir. J. Hřebejk), Il caso dell'infedele Klara (dir. R. Faenza), and Wingless (dir. I. Trajkov). From 2009 to 2015, I transitioned into the role of producer, focusing on TV projects. During this time, I produced the Czech adaptations of popular TV shows such as Kitchen Nightmares and Cookalong, among others. Since 2015, I have been dedicated to producing feature films and TV series through my own production company, Fresh Lobster. My work includes the feature films River Rascals and Diary of a Modern Dad, as well as TV series like Špunti na cestě (13 episodes) and Zalez do spacáku (8 episodes). Additionally, I have produced TV shows such as Czech Football Legends, among others.
