Katja (1988) graduated from the University of Ljubljana (Comparative Literature and Sociology of Culture). From 2012 – 2015 she worked as a festival manager at Berlin based world sales. In 2015 she joined production company EnaBanda (Ljubljana, SI) where she produced short films (Fundaments, The Flood) which premiered at festivals such as Sarajevo IFF and Clermont-Ferrand ISFF and several documentary films.
She is one of the founders of scriptwriting workshop for short films Kratka scena established in 2016 in Ljubljana. As of 2021 she’s collaborating with MEDIA supported training CEE Animation Workshop as a Workshop Manager. In 2020 she joined Vertigo as an associate producer on feature documentary Reconciliation (CPH:DOX 2021, Sarajevo FF, IDFA). She’s currently developing several features and TV series. She’s alumna of Thessaloniki Industry Academy 2016, Jihlava Emerging producers (2019) and 2022 EAVE graduate.
