Elie is a film critic, screenwriter, director and producer, living currently in New York City where he attends the Graduate Film Program at Columbia University’s School of the Arts.
Raised in Geneva, Switzerland, Elie lived also in Hong Kong, in the Middle East and has been an avid traveler from the moment he could. At the age of nineteen he directed his first short film for a high school project and has since continued directing short projects, both fiction and documentary. Elie also holds a Bachelor degree in Philosophy and Film Studies from Lausanne University.
