After Dora’s father Igor disappears, she returns to her childhood-village to keep the family business going; pretending to be a lie-detector specialist like Igor. She is offering truth-confirmation for low-key slavic crimes and misdemeanors, while searching for what truly happened with her unconventional father.
When a Dora (29) learns, that her father Igor (66) disappeared under strange circumstances, she returns to her small hometown in order to find out what happened.
Dora’s only clues are hidden in Igor’s job — unfinished lie-detector cases. Dora, a sceptic of objective truth and a notorious liar herself, is trying to collect hints about Igor, while pretending to be an experienced lie-detector specialist. From petty thefts, family disputes or jealous spouses, Dora solves case by case, meeting Igor’s quirky clients and their peculiar problems.
At the same time, Dora finds out, that their family business has competition in town! Someone is spreading fake-truth with the power of the “holy goat of truth” and people fall for it, Dora decides to put an end to this nonsense and make the real truth great again.
Soon, Dora receives mysterious, semi-threatening notes to stop her business. When she searches for the source — it brings her to her father. Dora puts him on the lie detector, finding out he is running the “goax” business with his new lover Tania, the owner of the goat. Dora tries to bring her father back to common sense, learning new truths about their relationship and herself.
