Ondrej Erban
Ondřej Erban is a graduate of the bachelor’s program at the Department of Scriptwriting and Dramaturgy at the Film and Television Faculty of Prague’s Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU). He wrote and directed the short film One Hundred and Twenty-Eight Thousand (2019), which was shown at the Cannes Film Festival in the The Cinéfondation Selection, was shortlisted for a BAFTA, and won the Magnesia Prize for best Czech student film of the year. Before he began his studies at FAMU, Ondřej earned a master’s degree in Media Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles’ University in Prague. He also worked as a journalist for several years, mainly at the Czech public television broadcaster Česká televize.
