Michelle Brøndum is an independent Producer and the founder of Jante Films; a company which seeks to create bold and genre-bending European co-productions. She has over ten years of experience in physical production and an MA in Producing from the prestigious National Film and Television School.
Her work includes the 74th Cannes nominated animation OTHER HALF; the Royal Television Society Award winning short REQUIEM starring Bella Ramsey (THE LAST OF US) and Safia Oakley-Green, which was broadcast on Channel 4 and acquired by Gunpowder and Sky; and the psychological horror DOWN THE LENGTH, starring Joseph Quin (GLADIATOR II), which is set to be released in 2025.
She also line-produced the feature documentary SCALA!!! and the short doc EQUAL PLAY for Channel 4, and has previously worked as a Production Manager on several Scandinavian theatrical features, such as THE EXCEPTION, HACKER and LOVE AND OTHER CATASTROPHES.
In 2022, Michelle produced her first feature under Jante Films; the documentary THE OTHER FELLOW. The film was theatrically released in 2023, and was nominated at several prestigious documentary festivals, including DocEdge and DOCVILLE.
