Lithuanian film producer Marija Razgutė has been running a film production company M-Films since 2008 – now being one of the most active producers in Lithuania, working internationally and focused on feature length fiction films. Meanwhile she has produced 5 feature films as a major producer and 4 as minority, as well as more than 10 short films (fiction, documentary and animation). Marija’s recently produced title – Slow by Marija Kavtaradze – premiered at Sundance FF in 2023 and won Best Diretor award there. Marija has been producing several most important Lithuanian film talents such as Vytautas Katkus (The Visitor, Cherries), Marija Kavtaradze (Slow, Summer Survivors), Andrius Blaževičius (Runner, The Saint), Karolis Kaupinis (Hunger Strike Breakfast, Nova Lituania). Also Marija has been co-producing as a minority co-producer since 2016, now having films with Spain and France – Tres by Juanjo Gimenez (Venice Days and TIFF 2021) & Trote by Xacio Baño (Locarno and San Sebastian 2018), Germany & Georgia – Otar’s Death by Ioseb “Soso” Bliadze (Karlovy Vary IFF 2021), and others. Since 2011 Marija Razgutė is an active member of Independent Producers Association of Lithuania, and a Board member since 2016. Marija is also a graduate EAVE Producers Workshop 2016, Producer on the Move 2020, ACE Producers 2020, ACE Leadership 2022. She is also a member of European Film Academy since 2015, and a Board member for 2024-2025.
