Gabriela Gažová is a filmmaker, writer and a visual artist focused on intersectional feminism, female and queer experience, rage, rebellion and humor. In whatever, lol she examines coming-of-age within patriarchal society - in the genre of socially critical comedy previously seen in her short film M (winner of the IFF for Children and Youth Kino w Trampkach in Warsaw, screened at Visibilities festival Vienna, Filmfest Dresden, ICA Boston, iShorts Prague, et al.). Gažová is a graduate of the the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (Intermedia, Photography and New Media) and film directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, abroad studies including LUCA in Brussels, Aalto University in Helsinki and Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. She is currently finishing her second master degree at the Art & Science program in Angewandte University, Vienna.
