Daniela Esposito was born in 1995 in London, UK. After graduating with a Law degree in 2018, she since worked for the government investigating the UK contaminated blood scandal. In 2023, she completed a one year course in Screenwriting at FAMU in Prague, where she co-wrote two short films; Žebra which premiered at 2Aannas Festival in Riga and The Care You Give, premiering at Lift-Off Festival in Tokyo. In the same year, she participated in The Writer’s Room at MIDPOINT Institute. Her series concept co-written with Melita was shortlisted for the Nem Contest 2023 in Zagreb. In 2024, her short film script, The World is too much with us, to be directed by Esben Sloth, won the London Help to Roll Film Fund and was subsequently accepted for production support from Filmværkstedet in Copenhagen. Her short stories have been published in numerous magazines and journals. She was longlisted for the Desperate Literature Short Story Prize 2024 and is working with the Literary Consultancy in the UK in developing a collection.
