Nice-guy teacher Gabe’s ordered life is thrown into disarray when a humiliating incident of him goes viral at his school. So when a surprising detail about the incident reveals itself to him, he senses an opportunity to play the good guy and so win back the attention of his ever-distancing son Emile, and the respect of his ever-misbehaving classrooms.

But with headteacher Rachita pressuring him for a firmer response, and grotesquely bulbous red swells on his shoulder developing from painful distraction to an alarming medical abhorrence, his students smell blood and take action, setting Gabe on a path of grotesque transformation that will change him and his relationship with Emile forever.
