Tamara Pomoriski graduated from the Theatre Faculty DAMU in Prague, majoring in theatre directing and dramaturgy. She also attended the internship program in film directing at the Film and TV school FAMU in Prague. As a theatre director and dramaturg she has been working in several theatres in Czech Republic (Ypsilon, Akropolis, NoD, Zapadoceske divadlo Cheb, Strasnicke divadlo X10). Currently she cooperates with the Dutch Theater NaDeDam. As an independent writer she wrote a several feature film screenplays and theatre plays (one of her plays was on the repertoire of the West Bohemian Theater Cheb). Currently she writes for Cesky rozhlas. She also works as a lecturer of Creative writing and Drama at The House of Children and Youth of the Capital City of Prague (DDM hl. m. Prahy).
