Gana Čomagić is a screenwriter, director and producer based in Podgorica, Montenegro. She is leading her production company Evil Ideas in Montenegro, creating short, feature films and documentaries in country and abroad. She holds a MA in Documentary film from the University of Sussex, UK and is a Chevening Alumni. Gana Čomagić is currently working on two feature projects - Stepo a documentary film currently in postproduction, and Transfer, her debut feature film in development, supported by the Film center of Montenegro. Notably, her short film Crna Dama (Lady in Black, 2023), a blend of black comedy and drama, was recently nominated for a Golden Egg at the Reykjavik International Film Festival 2023. Gana is a member of the European Film Academy.
