Netflix training writers & producers with MIDPOINT Institute

This initiative created by Arya Su Altioklar (Grow Creative Turkey), Benjamin Harris (Grow Creative DACH, CEE, Nordics) and MIDPOINT Institute brought together established, leading Turkish series writers with producers and writers from Germany.
Alexandra Gabrizova, the program coordinator of MIDPOINT series program division says: “Based on our mutual dialogue, we designed the program that offers practical knowledge about the organization of the writers´ room system and is trained on practical exercises, simulating the environment. We see the Turkish series market as a really inspirational field that is constantly growing and is full of opportunities. All selected writers and producers who entered the program were great professionals and it was a pleasure to cooperate.”
The simulation experience was led by experienced US / European mentors; writer, producer, and Joyrider CEO Gabor Krigler and writer and producer Patrick Charles (Sons of Anarchy, Bones, Iron Fist).
