Wiktor Piatkowski
Wiktor Piątkowski created and co-wrote HBO’s first original series produced in Poland, Wataha (eng. The Pack or The Border distributed worldwide by ZDF Enterprises); over the last 12 years he has worked as showrunner, head writer, screenwriter and producer on various films (including 4 Netflix originals) and shows (crime series, soap opera, scripted reality, sitcom – more than 1.200 hours of TV produced). A sitcom he co-created and co-wrote (Just Push Abuba) premiered in 2018 on ZDF. His producer’s filmography includes producing feature films (Święta inaczej) as well as short (Reset) and documentary movies (Over the Mountains, Trzej przyjaciele z boiska). Wiktor graduated from the Polish National Film School in Łódź and is an alumnus of Serial Eyes, European TV Drama Series Lab, European Showrunner Training, Racconti, The Owl and Berlinale Talents. He is also a member of SEAN, the Polish Filmmakers Association (SFP) and the Polish Screenwriters’ Association. Wiktor Piątkowski has a PhD.
