At the age of 17 Philipp Reuter started his theatre career at the Schauspielhaus Bochum led by Leander Haussmann. During this time he worked inter alia as a lighting operator and sound designer, assistant, and eventually made his directorial debut with Marc Ravenhill's ‘Faust is Dead’.
In the following years Philipp worked inter alia at the Staatstheater Kassel, Schauspielhaus Frankfurt, Volksbühne Berlin, the Thalia Theater in Hamburg and the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen.
