Diana Caravia currently works as a junior producer at microFILM and HiFilm Productions, Romania.
She is involved in the development, financing & production of shorts, features and documentaries by Romanian directors such as Radu Jude, Alexandru Solomon, Ivana Mladenovic, Ana-Maria Comanescu, Xandra Popescu and Paula Onet. Her film career started while working as an assistant director on the set of I DO NOT CARE IF WE GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS BARBARIANS, directed by Radu Jude.
Since then, she has participated in the production of a number of films, including the 2021 Berlinale Golden Bear winner – BAD LUCK BANGING OR LOONY PORN by Radu Jude.
Previously, she has worked in different departments of advertising companies such as event management, client service & commercial production.
She has a BA in Communication & Media from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MA in Brands, Communication & Culture from Goldsmiths University London.
