Christopher Haug is a Norwegian screenwriter, consultant and executive producer.
Haug began his career in television as a production assistant and has worked his way up to become one of the key players in the Norwegian television industry. In his early days Haug worked on Scandinavia’s longest running soap opera: Hotel Cæsar, where he worked as screenwriter, editor and script producer.
From 2008 Christopher worked as a screenwriter, consultant and author for a myriad of both national and international television productions (Det tredje øyet, Hvaler, Andra Avenyen, Kapten Sabeltann – Kongen på havet, Spesialenheten, Lilyhammer, Helt Perfekt) before he in 2010 was hired as project manager for TV 2 and was tasked with leading the development of Norwegian TV drama. In 2015, TV 2 created a separate department of drama, where Haug was formally hired as head of drama. In February 2021, HBO Europe hired Christopher Haug as Head of Drama Series Development for the Nordics.
Haug has also been part of various boards and had different jury assignments.
