MIDPOINT Writers’ Room: deadline postponed
"To be part of a real-life simulation of writers' rooms and training is priceless in an industry where gaining work and access to such experiences is notoriously difficult. A great opportunity that is both invaluable and inspiring in equal measure." Christos Kardana, MIDPOINT Writers´ Room 2020
As one of MIDPOINT Institute’s series-oriented training programs, MIDPOINT Writers’ Room is targeting writers and producers without a particular project in development whose ambition is to start their career as writers’ room members or showrunners.
The program is designed not only to train specialized writing skills but also to offer practical knowledge about the organization of a writers’ room, stimulate the creative process and spark new ideas.
The one-off event spanning over 5 days will provide selected participants with lectures, plotting and writing training and simulation of a writers' room.
