Among the five carefully selected projects in the inaugural Nordic Gateway lineup is GRAMMATIK, directed by Popo Fan and produced by Julia Cöllen (Fünferfilm), proudly presented in collaboration with the MIDPOINT Institute.

GRAMMATIK is a MIDPOINT Focus Queer and Feature Launch project written and directed by Popo Fan and produced by Julia Collen from Fünferfilm.

The Nordic Gateway is designed to spotlight high-potential projects in the financing stage, providing them with a platform to connect with Nordic producers, financiers, and sales agents. The curated lineup will be presented on January 30, 2025, followed by one-on-one meetings and culminating in the announcement of the winner of the Tint Post-Production Award—a prize valued at €35,000 and provided by Göteborg-based Tint Studio.

At MIDPOINT, we are delighted to be part of this collaborative journey. This partnership with Göteborg Film Festival reflects our shared commitment to empowering creators, facilitating meaningful connections, and bringing diverse, compelling stories to life.
