Philip's Dream

2027. Europe - after going through a serious crisis and a war - changes into the Green European Community, an organization superior to national levels. PHILIP SMITH (42) and his wife SARAH (38) decide to have a child in this dystopian world within the framework of the centrally planned Future Program. The Community hopes to increase its aging society’s willingness to have children by ensuring them certain privileges of the Program. Philip, after acquiring a new home, gets the chance to document Sarah’s pregnancy and the birth of the kid on video, which material would be used for promotional purposes by the Program. (excerpt)
