DXing

“DXing” tells the story of Krzysztof, a 65-year-old grumpy widower, who is retiring. His last day at the job culminates in the death of his beloved dog and his hospitalization. Following this, Krzysztof receives a referral to a sanatorium in the mountains. When he discovers that this is the perfect place to rekindle his abandoned passion for distant radio communication (DX) he decides to go, much to the delight of his daughter.

The sanatorium is a magical place where echoes of Krzysztof's youth linger. He meets Małgorzata, with whom he begins to reconnect with the person he was once before. For the first time in years, he begins to feel emotions stirring within him.

Krzysztof decides to make a change - in his apartment, in his relationship with his daughter, in his life as a whole. However, this change does not bring him happiness and leads to a confrontation with a long-repressed past.
