Matěj Paclík is an emerging film producer and founder of Breathless Films. During his studies at FAMU he worked on various short films as a producer. Most notable being the short film Sugar and Salt by Adam Martinec which premiered at San Sebastián IFF. Together they later worked on a short film Anatomy of a Czech Afternoon that premiered at Karlovy Vary IFF and won the Best Short Film Award at the Czech Film Critics' Awards and the Czech Lion for the Best Short Film. Last year he premiered a documentary feature Bedwetter by director Jan Hušek at Ji.hlava IDFF and this year a first feature fiction film Our Lovely Pig Slaughter by director Adam Martinec at Karlovy Vary IFF in the Crystal Globe Competition where it received Special Jury Mention.
