María Albiñana holds an MA in Acting, Journalism, and Classical Dance. Thanks to her extensive training and, in addition to being an actor, she has worked as a screenwriter, producer, and choreographer for the past 12 years in Spain, Los Angeles, London and Australia. We can see her in the Netflix original movie, I Met a Girl, alongside Hollywood star, Brenton Thwaites and in the upcoming feature film, La Terra Negra, directed by Alberto Morais which premieres at Málaga Film Festival 2025. Her most personal project happened during the pandemic where María created, produced, directed, and starred in one of the world's first international lockdown series, Cancelled. After a massive international success with over 15 major awards, she followed it up with a companion series, ReCancelled, which generated over 10 million views. In 2024, she released her first feature film as a screenwriter, producer, and lead actress, UnCancelled which was released theatrically in Spain in March 2024 and premiered in Madrid, Valencia, Los Angeles, Melbourne and Sydney. All three titles are now available in Movistar Plus and Filmin, in Spain and Channel 9, in Australia.
