An uprising talent, Lucía stands out both in directing and writing. Her creative motor moves in the realm of magic realism in topics like family and coming of age. In 2022 she directs along with Toño López Portocabo’s kids live action for TVE The Argonauts and the Golden Coin. As well as participating in various labs among others Torino Film Lab, Nouveau Marché del Festival du Nouveau Cinéma du Montreal and I+P Incuba del Cluster Audiovisual Gallego tutored by Fran Araújo (Movistar+), with the development of her next feature film As defensas/The defenses awarded regional funding by AGADIC.
In 2021, Lucía was awarded Mestre Mateo for her webseries Xan, co-created along Miguel Canalejo. Lucía’s short films O neno sardiña /Sardine Boy and O niño dos paxaros /Bird’s nest have been selected by Gijon Internacional Film Festival. And Lucía has participated in theater with Chévere Group in the play Curva España/ Spanish Curve.
