Born in 1984 in Frankfurt am Main, Emrah Erdogru studied history at Goethe University Frankfurt after completing his secondary education. In 2008, he transitioned to acting and completed his acting training in 2011. He has appeared in various Movie an TV productions such as "3 Türken & 1 Baby," "Tatort: Narben," "Krimi.de - Ehrensache," and "Lotta und der Ernst des Lebens." From 2012 to 2017, he studied motion pictures at Hochschule Darmstadt and received his Bachelor of Arts in 2017. Emrah has attended numerous workshops and seminars in the fields of directing, screenwriting, and acting. He developed a passion for the crime and horror genre at an early age and began writing and directing smaller horror films at the beginning of 2020. These films were shown at multiple film festivals. Currently, he is working on a German-Turkish series with UFA. Emrah Erdogru works as an actor and screenwriter and resides in Frankfurt. His current project include a Turkish Guestworker Story, based in Frankfurt in the 70ties, which is based on his family. A cultural-horror Anthology in Germany and an Heist Story based on true events.
