Elad Laor
Originally from Hod Hasharon, I've been housesitting across Israel since April 2022. When I first started looking for 'a woof over my head', it was supposed to be just a temporary remedy for my emotional and financial state. But I fell in love with it. It turned my life into "a doggy-dog world" as Micheal Scott once said. I feel grateful for the freedom it enTAILS (sorry for all the bad puns that's how I deal with embarrassing situations like having to write my bio), and for how it led me to this bootcamp, for a shot at my lifelong dream.
My professional experience includes documentaries filmed in Israel and abroad; wrote and directed a short film with some of my favorite Israeli actors; represented Israel in the Poetry Slam World Cup (turns out it's a thing), lost in the finals; released a few songs as part of an upcoming hip-hop album; and directed the Jerusalem Film Workshop.
