Carl originates from the vibrant city of Caracas and has seamlessly woven his narrative prowess into the fabric of Mexico City's creative scene. Armed with a degree in Computer Engineering and a postgraduate honor from the prestigious National Film and Television School in England, Carl has emerged as a distinguished writer and director.

From the streets of London, where he directed commercials and music videos for Passion Pictures, to the screen of renowned festivals, Carl’s work has garnered international acclaim and recognition, including a Latin Grammy for Best Video. But Carl's cinematic journey took a significant leap with the premiere of his debut film, "El Vampiro del Lago,” a compelling thriller that captivated audiences in Los Angeles, New York and Mexico City.

Beyond the cinematic realm, Carl expanded his creative footprint into literature, publishing "Choro 2021," a gripping science fiction novel that blends action, adventure and humor. This literary endeavor marked a new chapter in his multifaceted career and now he’s programming a video game based on the book to expand his own franchise.

A collaborative spirit, and proficient in Spanish, English and German, Carl has lent his storytelling acumen to very different projects, from romantic comedies to horror flicks. He brings forth a fresh and innovative perspective to every endeavor, cultivating a unique narrative voice that resonates with global audiences.
