Series Launch has already started, however, the first residential workshop is finally here. All participants have already met online during the pre-training, the same goes for the development executive participants. However, we are excited to see them together physically on May 7-13 in Breznice, Czech Republic.
We welcome three talented DEs and nine promising projects and their creators. They will work on defining their series concept, outlining pilot scripts and most important consulting together and also individually with their tutors - Gabor Krigler, Katrin Merkel, Tatjana Samopjan and Steve Matthews.
Group leader and MIDPOINT series programs Head of Studies Gabor Krigler will give the lecture The Narrative Foundations of a Series Project. As the founder of Joyrider TV and a former Creative Executive and Producer at HBO Hungary, he will explain the mechanisms of series development and the importance of a pilot episode.
Group leader Tatjana Sampojan has worked with ACE Producers, EAVE, European TV Drama Series Lab, The Netherlands Film Academy, International Film School Cologne, and many, many others. She is ready to give the best lecture Fire in the Eyes on storytelling, how to find and build the best stories from our lives and hearts.
