MIDPOINT TV Launch 2017 has concluded in Sarajevo after 9 months. 7 content-rich TV series projects have gone through the intensive idea-to-market development program.
Thanks to a close partnership with HBO Europe, the HBO Europe Award 2017 was handed out to the winning project 'The Midnight Shift' by Harry Ayiotis, Frixos Masouras and Andreas Kyriacou. They were awarded a cash prize of 4.000 USD.
The C21 Media Award went to producer Vasilis Chrysanthopoulos, offering him a one year subscription to C21 Media's content. Chrysanthopoulos participated in the program with the Greek TV series project '10 Bullets'.
MIDPOINT alumni also had a fair share of success at the CineLink Industry Days.
MIDPOINT TV Launch 2016 alumni project 'Glycerin' by Ivan Knezevic received a Special Mention at CineLink Drama.
MIDPOINT Feature Launch 2016 alumni project 'Pinkler' by Patricia D'Intino was awarded the Best Pack & Pitch Award at Talents Sarajevo Pack & Pitch.
And Head of Studies of MIDPOINT Feature Launch, Slovenian producer Danijel Hocevar received the Eurimages Co-production Development Award for his project 'Half-Sister' at CineLink Co-production Market.
