As part of the EFM Industry Sessions, Soňa will speak at “TEDDY Talk: Queer Creations, part.3” on February 19, 2025, at 15:00 CET at Gropius Bau.
The panel brings together key figures from leading training and development initiatives to explore how incubators and labs support queer projects by ensuring timely and effective development assistance. Soňa will share insights from MIDPOINT’s experience in supporting filmmakers through Focus Queer, our tailored program for filmmakers developing feature films with LGBTQ+ narratives, she initiated.
As part of the Teddy Talk, the session will also highlight how development programs foster inclusive storytelling and diverse narratives, reflecting MIDPOINT’s commitment to amplifying authentic voices in film and television.
