Highlights from the Thessaloniki International Film Festival:
Orfeas Peretzis' "Riviera" swept multiple awards:
/ FIPRESCI Award for the best Greek film premiering at the festival.
/ “FOS” Award for debut performances, awarded jointly to Eva Samioti & Myrto Meitani-Kastrinaki.
/ ERT Award, recognizing the film as the Greek critics' favorite (International Federation of Film Critics
/ Best Location Award from the Hellenic Film Commission for the creative work of Marios Dimopoulos & Niki Saliagopoulou.

The MIDPOINT Consulting Award at Thessaloniki's Agora went to Side Effect of Trusting Life by Ahmad Ghossein, an international co-production led by Lebanon’s Abbout Productions.

/Eva Samioti’s remarkable performance in Riviera earned her the Prize for Outstanding Individual Performance.
Connecting Cottbus Awards
/ The Producers Network Award was given to Krystof Burda (Perfilm, Czech Republic), producer of Eli and Them, directed by Petr Pylypcuk. This accolade includes exclusive accreditation for the Producers Network at the Marché du Film at Cannes 2025.
The MIDPOINT Institute Consulting Award recognized three projects for in-depth script consultancy:
