Ziad Touma
Ziad Touma is an award-winning producer, director and writer, working in film, television and interactive media, in fiction and documentary, in both English and French. With over 25 years of experience in content development, he produced six feature films that have been theatrically distributed, sold internationally and selected in multiple international film festival competitions (Berlinale, Karlovy Vary, Seattle, etc.). His documentary series have been broadcast on many Canadian TV channels and his interactive work was selected in many XR festival competitions such SXSW, Tribeca, Taipei, Rotterdam, etc.
Ziad line produced two feature films in indigenous language: Kuessipan by Myriam Verreault (TIFF) and Before the Streets by Chloé Leriche (Berlinale).
Ziad was an Executive Producer on the Vancouver punk-rock film Fall Back Down and an Associate Producer on Denis Villeneuve’s film Incendies, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
