Upon finishing her film studies in Canada, Effie S. collaborating in Greece with C. Labropoulos in film production. Member of the Greek Film Academy, she has over 15 years of professional experience and has worked with Greek and foreign talents in domestic and international projects.
She has participated in professional training programs for producers (EAVE, Marketing and Distribution, Maia, Sources 2).
Since 2010 she’s been responsible for the development of all creative projects of VMF. Her most recent projects include HEN by G. Palfi, More Than Strangers by S. Michel, The River by H. Raftogiannis.
In 2019 she founded Mitos Productions (www.mitosproductions.com )based in Canada, specializing in the production of original content for new media (applications, social media) in the fields of history and education (app./podcast 1821 - Routes, The Flower Of Smyrna-Insta project).
As a member of WIFT GR, she supports the empowerment of female voices and promotes equality in the industry.
